The impact of computerized physician medication order entry in hospitalized patients—A systematic review

Keywords used in the two search strategies and the search flow. In strategy 1, keywords and MeSH terms that are currently in use for referring to a CPOE system (part A) are combined with terms related to inpatient care (part B). In strategy 2, computer (C) and medication (D) related terms are combined to identify studies that address prescribing with computerized systems in an inpatient setting (B), for especially uncovering older studies. The results of these two strategies are combined by using the boolean operator “or”.
